When I picture Aunty Nirelle I always see her laughing, to the point she would often be crying, shoulders shaking and always with that smile. I loved spending a couple of weeks with her at the Redcliffe house in my early 20s, and visiting her there often. Might be just me but she was always so happy and proud of that place, it was gorgeous, and so her. She came and visited when I was in Biloela and as Colleen said, we always got into the deepest conversations, about anything and everything! Here was this woman trooping around doing whatever she wanted to, again I was in awe of her... travelling so much! But it is the "How are you kid?" comment by Colleen... that got me... that was Nirelle.
