connection and reflection

Dear family

Aunty Nirelle's funeral on Friday was a wonderful celebration of her life, while obviously also a very sad occasion. At the same time, it brought many of us together again, to share tears, grief, but also joy in the wonderful memories. For many of us the gathering was all too short - a cuppa together, then back to the busy-ness of life.

I have been wishing we could sit and share some memories - all of us, including those who were unable to come to the funeral.

The Wooburn blog came to my mind - maybe we can revisit it for a while, to share thoughts and memories. So here goes -

Aunty Nirelle was one of life's warm, wonderful people. We were all the richer for her being single, as it meant we could all share in her wonderful gifts more fully. She always welcomed us with her lovely smile and a big hug and a 'How you going kid?'. And it was so easy to have the deep conversations.

Miss you Aunty Rell. Tons of love.

Colleen
