Catering and conference facilities
Conference centre booked! Seems the catering is a go, just need to ask if anyone has any particular food allergies or requirements before we select the "two" options. Hope people understand that we pick two options out of the list provided in previous email, then they serve them alternately around the tables. So let me know if there is anything anybody cannot have, easy way to eliminate some choices!

McUnion update!
Hi all,
I hope this finds you all happy and healthy, I cannot believe it's March already, best get this reunion into its final planning stage!!
I need some feedback from everyone as to who is planning to attend.
The rough plan will be to meet in the park on the Saturday and BYO picnic lunch, followed by an evening get together where we can do the slide shows, photo sharing etc. I have tossed some ideas around with a few and we have decided to try and book the conference centre for the Saturday night, to ensure we have a good area, weather proof etc to congregate. Still have to confirm, if not hopefully we can utilise the restaurant section like we did last time.
There is also the option to have that Saturday night meal catered, and the main reason for this is that the restaurant may not be able to cope with us all, so we thought we would check out menus and costs, below is the reply I received today.
I do not want these decisions to make it too expensive for families to attend, so if anyone objects to the catering then we will leave everyone to look after themselves with the food side of things.
If we decide to go ahead with the catering then I need to know numbers, either way I will still book the conference facility for the night. The easiest way to pay for the conference facility booking I feel would be for each "grandchild", my generation, to pay about $13 each, depending on how many are coming. If we have a meal maybe we can just add a dollar or so to each meal??
So... with that in mind, firstly, who is hoping to attend?
Secondly ...do we want the catered meal included on the Saturday night? Happy to add a dollar to the cost of the meal to cover the booking of the venue?
And lastly, if people want to start getting together some family photos into power point presentations or the like, I will try and organise a laptop and data projector for the night, (anyone have one themselves) or maybe the facility has one, will check.
It's all starting to come together!
Hugs and look forward to your replies!
Sandie
